Dwight Matthews Architect is licensed as an architect to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Primary focus is in commercial and historic preservation design for new work and renovation. Specialized experience includes data centers, cleanrooms and communications facilities. Architectural projects are located in the counties of Rappahannock, Culpeper, Warren, Frederick, Fauquier, Prince William, Loudoun and Fairfax and in the towns and cities Culpeper, Front Royal, Manassas and Alexandria in Viginia. Public client design projects include work at Fort Belvoir, Army Research Laboratory , Adelphi, Maryland, City of Alexandria Public Schools, Loudoun County Public Schools and Warren County Public Schools.

In addition to commercial and historic preservation architectural design services, Dwight Matthews Architect also offers structural engineering services through our structural engineering consultant Olde Town Engineering. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services are offered through MEP consultant B2E Consulting Engineers of Leesburg or MEI Engineering of Harrisonburg.
